The Randomness In My Head...

As far as the holidays are concerned, and I know some people will hate me for saying it, but one thing I CANNOT stand is Christmas music…

I know, I know… You’re probably thinking that I’m an awful person for having such a distaste for Christmas music, but let me explain…

It’s not necessarily the music itself that I hate with a fervent passion per se… The thing I dislike the most about it is the fact that Christmas carols are played on the radio CONSTANTLY from Black Friday until as far as New Year’s Eve/Day. I mean, really? Do people HONESTLY need to hear “Have a Holly Jolly Christmas”, “Jingle Bells” or “Frosty the Snowman” on repeat 929583027494.982 times a day for over a month to get into the Christmas spirit? Yeah… No, no they don’t. I’m down for listening to carols on/near Christmas, but not much more than that. So if any radio execs come across this wonderful little post of mine, take this suggestion and run with it: Ease up on the carols, eh? Great! Awesome! Thanks! =)

So yeah… That’s my little rant for the evening about something I find kind of annoying about the holidays. Let me know what you think. Is there anything you are annoyed by during this time of year?

Let me say one more thing though… Somethings that I can’t get enough of over the extended holiday season are good times with family/friends and amazingly fattening food! Hope you all have a good one!
